Um 15:00 Uhr : die Kinderjazzband „Black Cat“ der Musikschule City West (Berlin) unter der Leitung von Christof Griese. Die Kinder sind zwischen 10 und 15 Jahren alt. Sie spielen auswendig und improvisieren. Christof Griese entwickelte das Konzept der Kinderjazzband Mitte der 80er Jahre als Fachgruppenleiter Jazz an der Musikschule Charlottenburg (jetzt City West). Kinder vor der Pubertät sind offen für viele Dinge und damit auch für Musik, die sie vielleicht nicht unbedingt hören oder von zu Hause aus kennen. Das Spielen in einer Band - und dann auch das Improvisieren - über Jazzkompositionen weckt ungeahnte Kräfte in den Kindern. Als Saxofonist, Flötist und Komponist ist Christof Griese eine feste Größe der Berliner Jazzszene und international bekannt und tourte durch Deutschland, Dänemark, Niederlande, Mexiko und die Türkei und gewann nationale wie auch internationale Preise.
